1. What Fuel Fighter Does

Fuel Fighter helps estimate and compare the total cost of buying fuel at nearby petrol stations. The service may combine pump price information, approximate distance, route estimates, vehicle fuel consumption, fuel volume, location search, and your selected journey details to produce a ranked list of stations.

Fuel Fighter is an information and comparison tool only. It is not a navigation service, emergency service, financial adviser, transport adviser, or fuel retailer.

2. Estimates Only

All results are estimates. Fuel prices, station availability, opening hours, traffic, road conditions, detours, vehicle efficiency, fuel volume, and route calculations can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable.

You are responsible for checking current fuel prices, road rules, station access, vehicle suitability, and safety conditions before travelling or purchasing fuel. You should not make safety-critical, time-critical, financial, or emergency decisions based only on Fuel Fighter.

3. Third-Party Data And Services

Fuel Fighter may rely on third-party data and services, including fuel price sources, mapping, geocoding, routing, browser geolocation, hosting, analytics, and infrastructure providers. These services are outside our control.

We do not promise that third-party data will be accurate, current, complete, continuous, or suitable for your circumstances. Third-party services may change, fail, rate-limit, return errors, remove data, or provide stale information without notice.

4. Location And Inputs

Fuel Fighter may use a location you enter manually, select from search results, or share through your browser. Browser geolocation is controlled by your device and browser permissions. You can decline location access and use manual location search instead.

You are responsible for the accuracy of all inputs you provide, including location, destination, fuel type, fuel volume, and vehicle efficiency. Incorrect inputs will produce incorrect or misleading results.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not misuse Fuel Fighter. This includes attempting to disrupt the service, bypass security or rate limits, scrape excessive data, reverse engineer non-public calculations, interfere with third-party services, submit malicious requests, or use the service for unlawful purposes.

We may restrict, suspend, block, or rate-limit access where we reasonably believe use is harmful, excessive, unlawful, automated in a way that burdens the service, or inconsistent with these Terms.

6. Availability And Changes

Fuel Fighter is provided on an as-available basis. We may change, suspend, withdraw, replace, or limit any part of the service at any time, including features, data sources, calculations, supported locations, station coverage, fuel types, and user interface.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, permanent availability, or compatibility with every browser, device, location, or network.

7. Intellectual Property

Fuel Fighter, including its branding, interface, ranking approach, calculations, text, design, and software, is owned by us or licensed to us. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial comparison purposes.

You must not copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, frame, commercially exploit, or create a competing service from Fuel Fighter or its non-public data without written permission, except where the law allows.

8. No Warranties Beyond Non-Excludable Rights

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fuel Fighter is provided without warranties, guarantees, representations, or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including as to accuracy, freshness, reliability, availability, fitness for purpose, or suitability for your needs.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right, guarantee, warranty, remedy, or protection that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss, damage, cost, expense, delay, missed savings, fuel costs, travel costs, fines, vehicle issues, business losses, data loss, lost opportunity, or consequential loss arising from your use of, reliance on, inability to use, or decisions made from Fuel Fighter.

Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, including, where lawful, to supplying the service again or the cost of supplying the service again.

10. Privacy

Fuel Fighter may process information needed to operate the service, such as location search text, selected coordinates, request metadata, device/browser information, and technical logs. Some information may be handled by infrastructure or third-party service providers used to deliver location search, routing, hosting, security, analytics, or data refresh functions.

Do not submit sensitive personal information into Fuel Fighter. If a separate privacy policy is published, it forms part of the information available to you about how personal information is handled.

11. Links And External Sites

Fuel Fighter may link to external websites, maps, services, data providers, or resources. We are not responsible for external content, availability, accuracy, security, policies, or practices. Accessing external services is at your own risk.

12. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version applies from the effective date shown on this page. If you continue using Fuel Fighter after the Terms are updated, you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The courts of Victoria, Australia, and courts entitled to hear appeals from them, have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes connected with these Terms or Fuel Fighter.
